Terms and Conditions Specific to Pre-licensing and CE, Ethics and Live Ethics Webinar Courses

In addition to the general Terms and Conditions applicable to all Dohrn materials, as stated herein, you also agree to the following terms and conditions specific to course programs which include the following:

CE/Ethics

Physical Attendance

Classroom Ethics Courses begin promptly at the time stated in your course confirmation and conclude at the time indicated. The amount of time spent in class is mandated by the State of Illinois and is vigorously enforced by Dohrn!

A late arrival could result in the student being denied entry to class. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please allow sufficient travel time to arrive at your class location and strive to be present at least 15 minutes prior to the class start time.

The State of Illinois has specific attendance and behavior rules for ethics classes and Dohrn cannot certify your course completion unless you fulfill these mandates. Each ethics course is a 3-hour requirement, of which all 3 hours must be classroom attendance.

There is no study or course materials needed for an ethics class. You do not need to bring anything with to class except for your National Producer Number (NPN). If you do not know your number, there is a link on our homepage (www.dohrnit.com) to look it up.

You Agree To:
  1. Arrive prior to the start of class; and
  2. Stay the full 3 hours without being disruptive to the flow of the class, return from all class breaks in a timely fashion, stay in class during the ethics live presentation; and
  3. Provide appropriate signatures as requested to evidence you arrived on time and stayed for the duration of class and to supply an accurate and completed class attendance form to the instructor by the end of class.
Via Live Webinar

You agree to meet the conditions outlined on www.dohrnit.com and in your Webinar course confirmation in order to earn credit for the three hour live ethics requirement via Webinar. This includes meeting all the requirements of being "actively engaged" during the Live Webinar Ethics broadcast. You agree that failure to meet the criteria for successful completion of an ethics course taken via Live Webinar means that Dohrn cannot report a course completion on your behalf and that you are not entitled to any refund for your purchase of a Live Webinar Ethics broadcast.

PLEASE NOTICE:

Dohrn Insurance Training, Inc. provides next business day course completion reporting or attempt at reporting, with exception of circumstances beyond the control of Dohrn including, but not limited to, Internet access failure caused by any reason or failure of the Department of Insurance (DOI) reporting agent to accept course completion reports by Dohrn due to DOI agent system problems relating to uploading completion data from providers to said agent. The Illinois Department of Insurance by Rule advises all licensed producers to complete all continuing education course requirements at least 30 days prior to the producer's license expiration date. You agree that all responsibility to renew your license on time is yours and that Dohrn will not be held liable or responsible for your failure to renew your producer license with or without late penalty.
